简介：
刁开盛，博士，教授，硕士研究生导师，2012年晋升为教授。一直从事与有机化学相关的教学与科研工作，近年来主持国家自然科学基金1项、参与国家自然科学基金2项；主持广西自然科学基金项目1项，完成广西自然科学基金项目1项。作为主要完成人参加了多项国家级及省部级项目。承担本科生《有机化学化学》、《有机化学实验》，研究生《计算化学》、《天然产物化学》等课程。
研究领域：
主要研究天然产物化学、有机合成和相关反应机理，功能性有机高聚物合成及性能，以及计算化学及其应用。

1. 甲醇羰基化生产醋酸的新型催化剂，2009年北京市科学技术奖一等奖，北京市人民政府， 2011年2月，2009工-1-001-11（排名第11）
